There’s a little production story behind this quiet nature shot newly available online.
When I scanned the original film (shot in Morocco’s Atlas mountans), the scanner was accidentally set to black-&-white. Rather than rescan, I pulled it into Luminar Neo and discovered that certain controls would add color tints even in a monochrome image. In the reconstructed color version I made the grasses pretty close to the original, but cooled off the tones of the rocks to contrast more with the warm grass.
