That's a wrap!
As many of you know, 2025 is my last year engaging in this self-funding-hobby-turned-business. The N2 event at Barber Motorsports was my last.
There are too many people to thank so I won't even try to thank everyone by name. Suffice it to say that, if you ever purchased even a single photo from me these past 15 years, you helped me continue to participate in doing what I love most and for that, I thank you. I DO want to mention my wife Beth, without whose encouragement I never would have considered turning my hobby into a business. Thank you, my love!
I also want to thank those of you who allowed me to shoot at your events (X-Act Motorsports, N2, WERA, P.R.E., TDW, Precision Track Days, Midwest Track Days, Podium Motorsports, Nate Kern, 4Paw Agility Club of No. Ga., MotoAmerica and others.)
Many have asked what made me decide to stop. When I retired in 2022 from my "day job" I swore that if this ever felt like work, I'd be done. Well, that day has come. I love being at the track but the behind the scenes work required to get photos up, fill manual orders, etc. - not so much. But, enough of that.
So, what's next? My plan is to do some traveling in the RV with the family and come visit track events whenever I can just to hang out. I'll be near Road Atlanta so, if you're ever at an event there, you might see me and, who knows, I may even have a camera with me. ;-)
As for photo availability, all the photos on my site will remain available for purchase until July 1, 2026. My subscription to Zenfolio (my photo hosting provider) expires then and won't be renewed. Also - if you have an album on my site (e.g. highsidephoto.com/######) it will also remain available until July. Please make sure you have downloaded all the photos in your album as they will be unavailable after July 1, 2026)
Again, thank you for these past 15 years. It's been a blast!
