They told me this fundraiser would be “low risk”
I was chased down by the police for yelling “Free Wi-Fi” in a crowded park with absolutely no Wi-Fi...
When they caught me, one of them yanked my shirt so hard it ripped in half like a dramatic telenovela scene...
Then I tripped over a half-eaten corn dog, hit the pavement, and that’s how I got the black eye...
When I finally got booked, they threw me in a cell with a guy they call "Judge Judy"
Fifteen minutes in, I made eye contact with "Judge Judy" and I felt a bit froggy so we played rock paper scissors for dominance...
I threw scissors...
He threw a chair...
By the time I asked for a bathroom break, they handed me a shovel and said "earn it"...
I traded my last pocket granola bar for a blanket... It was made of recycled flyers from 2014 for a haunted corn maze that accidentally opened in April.
Now I’ve got 15 minutes of fame, one black eye, and a bail fund that might actually change lives if you donate
I’ll be going live Friday night to show you my holding cell.
It’s got ambiance... It’s got grit.... It’s got questionable plumbing....
Then Saturday, June 7 at 10:45 AM, right after the Ruidoso Bed Race, come see me in person at Wingfield Park.
I’ll also be going live from inside the cage, so whether you’re there in the crowd or watching from home, you won’t miss my dramatic downfall.
All of this is part of a fun, community-driven fundraiser for High Mountain Youth Project of Lincoln County New Mexico
