Counselors and youngsters at Sunny Cove Camp spent their summers escaping the city heat and are shown enjoying Adirondack camp life in the early 1930s.
My ADK story began decades ago when I traveled from New Jersey to fill a summer live-in position at Camp Solitude's B&B. I would return to NJ every Winter but one summer I couldn't bear to leave. I'm settled in the Boquet Valley now, I enjoyed starting my own rustic craft business & eventually I met a good Adirondack man to marry.
