Hey customers, this is Rex (owner of DoB Records), I wanted to write a little more about what is going on with Day Old Blues Ruston.

We are moving to Rumo's Barber Shop starting March 10th. I am excited about this change. I had many call, comment, email me about the status of the record store because for a while there it was never open. Its my fault and I apologize. I love having a record store in Ruston, I love our customers. Making the move from our old location to our new one will help DoB grow. Yes, we will not have our own building but we partnered with one of the coolest places in Ruston! This change will allow us to have hours set in stone. We will be open more often than at the last space. I will come in and refresh the stock once a week. Its not fun seeing the same records over and over and nothing new in the bins. I am looking forward to this new adventure in the life of DoB Ruston. We will announce an event shortly. Thank you for being patient and I hope to see you soon.

Hey Ruston. This is James of Day Old Blues. I wanted to address some rumors as well as apologize.

We are not closing our doors, shutting down. I understand that we have not been open lately, at all. Hopefully this will change very soon. We are in the process of hiring new workers. If you or anyone you might know who would like to work at the record store, email [email protected]

I apologize for the radio silence. I apologize for those who make their way to the record store in Ruston only to find that it is closed. We are doing are very best to get everything lined up so the next time you go to the record shop you can actually shop. I love Ruston and do not see us leaving it anytime soon. I will keep you up to date with the future plans, hours and so on.
