SUMMARY OF CRASH:

State Police, Swanton FD and three area rescue squads (Amcare x2 , Missisquoi and Enosburg) responded to this serious, two-vehicle motor vehicle crash.



Preliminary investigation indicates that vehicle #1 was traveling NB on Bushey Road but failed to stop at the intersection of Woods Hill Road. After running through the stop sign, vehicle #1 broadsided vehicle #2 as it was passing through the intersection, traveling WB on Woods Hill Road. Following the collision, both vehicles departed the road, coming to positions of uncontrolled rest in a field NW of the intersection.



Vehicle #1 was also occupied by Paula Gebo, age 65 and vehicle #2 by Richard Biocan, age 94.



Both operators and both occupants were injured but remained alert and conscious following the crash. Following extrication from their vehicles, all were transported to NWMC for treatment.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 01/07/2025, at approximately 0912 hours, the Vermont State Police received a report of a theft from Rozelle Inc located on Loop Road in Westfield, VT. Investigation determined between the dates of 12/19/2024 and 01/07/2025, a truck on the property had its catalytic converter removed along with upwards of 25 gallons of gas siphoned out of its fuel tank. On December 04, 2024, Vermont State Police were notified of a retail theft that occurred the day prior at the Madonna Mobile in Jeffersonville. An unknown male entered the store, removed items from the shelves, concealed them on his person and left without paying.



Through investigation, the male was identified as Eric Boucher (39) of Morrisville. Boucher was later located and issued a citation to appear at the Lamoille County Superior Court to answer to the charge of Retail Theft on February 26, 2025 at 1230 hours.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:



On December 09, 2024 at approximately 1614 hours, Vermont State Police responded to the area of VT Route 109 and Cambridge Junction Road in Cambridge for a report of a vehicle that had left the roadway. Troopers identified the operator as Zachary Herringshaw (34) of Richford. While speaking with Herringshaw, Troopers detected several indicators of impairment and was believed to be impaired by a substance other than alcohol. Herringshaw was subsequently arrested for the suspicion of DUI and transported to the Morrisville Police Department where Herringshaw was further evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert. Blood Evidence obtained by Herringshaw indicated a substance in their system, impairing their ability to operate a motor vehicle safely.



Herringshaw was issued a citation to appear at the Lamoille County Superior Court on February 05, 2025 at 1230 hours to answer to the charge of DUI – Drug.

SUMMARY OF CRASH:



On the above date and time Troopers with the Vermont State Police, St. Albans Barracks responded to Main St in the town of Fairfax for the report of a single vehicle crash. Troopers made contact with the vehicle, a 2024 Ford F350, and the operator, identified as Earl Greenwood. After speaking with Earl and investigating the scene, it appears Earl attempted to swerve around an animal and entered the ditch on the right side of the roadway. The vehicle then down the ditch and up and over a driveway, resulting in some damage to the driveway. The vehicle was able to get back on the road and be driven away on it’s own power.
