Both the pits and the grandstands were absolutely packed for Saturday's "Birthday Night" at Wiscasset Speedway LLC, where fans were able to enjoy all Group 1 divisions on top of honoring all of the track's champions and Hall of Fame inductees.

The night was also home to the biggest Super Street race of the year: the $1,500-to-win Super Street 100.

Not only did we see TWO new first-time winners at the speedway, but we also welcomed two first-time podium finishers.

The heat of the Maine summer is in full swing and so is the racing action at Wiscasset Speedway LLC.

The track hosted an action-packed Group 1 program yesterday, welcoming all weekly divisions PLUS the visiting Ladies Acceleration Tour, which surely amped up the fun!

All 6 divisions put on a clean and exciting show, with points battles continuing to heat up and change across the board.

Saturday's Independence Day race program at Wiscasset Speedway LLC was nothing short of spectacular as the track hosted all Group 2 divisions plus the Crown Vics AND the popular ProTruck Tour, making its return to Maine's biggest and fastest following a multi-year hiatus.

Every single race featured exciting side-by-side racing action, keeping all of the fans on their feet until the very last turn.

Saturday brought the first "Fan Appreciation Night" of the season at Wiscasset Speedway LLC and boy, did the fans show out!

Families packed the track and the stands, joining all drivers for autographs and goodies on the frontstretch prior to the racing action, followed by bike races for the kids.

In addition to all Group 1 divisions, the Senior Tour Auto Racers joined the program on both Saturday and Sunday for Maine Vintage Race Car Association 's "Heritage & Horsepower" event, which was presented by our awesome website partner Kennebec Equipment Rental, Inc..

Not only did two first-time winners break through on race day, but we also saw the points leader change in THREE separate divisions as the race to the championship grows tighter with each and every passing week.
