If you're into a straight-up throwback to 80's hard rock, Where Rock Lives by Resless is worth a spin.

This one came out back in July, but somehow I never shared it!

Loud guitars, ripping shred, big ballads, and songs with ridiculously catchy hooks. And yeah… the cover of Hot Child in the City is smokin’.

I had a blast mixing and mastering this record. Some tracks were rescued from 24" analog tape, others rebuilt from older stereo recordings that we cracked open and gave new life to.

If you’re craving unapologetic guitars and melodies that stick, give this one a listen. 🤘

The gift of amplification! 🎁

I don’t play a ton of bass, but it’s something I’ve been trying to lean into more over the years. Truth is, I’ve never really had a consistent bass amp setup.

When I do play these days, it’s usually because I’ve been asked to add or tweak something in a track I'm mixing for a client. And then it's almost always straight DI and into amp modeling.

Thanks to my thoughtful wife, I now have another option: this little 40W Fender Rumble. And wow… it’s surprisingly loud for its size, and I was honestly shocked by the range of tones it can produce.

It’s already come in handy on a couple of projects, and it's great having something I can just plug into and play - just to play. No agenda, no session clock.

I’m lovin’ it, and so does my StingRay. Looking forward to a future with more bass!! ❤️🎸

Grateful. Inspired. Ready for what’s next.

As the new year gets underway, I want to say thank you to every artist, producer, and collaborator who trusted me with their music over the past year. Being invited into your creative process, and helping to shape your sonic vision as a mixing and mastering engineer is something I never take lightly.

A special shoutout to clients who chose to explore immersive audio. Pushing music beyond stereo and into new spatial dimensions takes curiosity, trust, and a shared vision. It’s been incredibly rewarding to help translate those ideas into fully realized spatial mixes.

Every project is a collaboration, and I’m thankful for the openness, dialogue, and creative trust that makes this work meaningful.

Wishing you all a happy, healthy, and creative 2026. I can’t wait to hear what we build together next.

Honored to be the mastering engineer on another release for the prolific HoFrAn. Arboriform is the follow up to Alternate Ontology and similarly weaves intricate electronic textures with fluid, melodic lines.

Each piece revolves around a unique palette of custom-crafted tones, blended with select traditional and acoustic-inspired elements.
