A little late since sweet Tala has already arrived, but I had to share this! My friend Martin-del Rosario came up with the amazing idea of hosting a nesting party instead of a traditional baby shower, and she even wrote an article about it for To Expect .

I had such a blast meeting her friends, organizing baby clothes, and setting up systems while listening to Taylor Swift in the background. As someone who loves organizing, it was the perfect blend of fun and structure! 😉

If you're thinking of planning one, consider hiring a Professional Organizer to guide your support crew. 😊

Managing paper clutter can indeed be overwhelming, especially for busy parents. It's like a constant juggling act between daily tasks and the ever-growing pile of papers. I hear you, and it's totally normal to feel stressed by it.

Here are my tips that I share with my clients when it comes to kids' paper clutter

Choose a Weekly Ritual:
Set aside a specific time each week for this task, just like taking out the trash. It's not a one-time project but rather a consistent routine, making it more manageable.
Filing System with Heart:
Your categories show thoughtfulness – from school-related papers to bills. Consider adding a 'Memories' or 'Special Moments' category for those heartfelt drawings or notes from your kids. This can be a special place for things that make you smile. This file system will also serve as your limit as to what you can save.
Family Bonding Through Organization:
Involving the family turns this into a shared experience. It's not just about papers; it's about teamwork and building a harmonious living space.
Remember, it's not just about conquering the paper mountain—it's about creating a space that reflects your family's love and connection. Need more support? Don't hesitate to reach out for a consult!

Hi there! Kat here! Here's what I would love to commit to this year and I hope by writing this into the interwebs, It will encourage me to not give up on them until I actually do them. Here goes:

-- This year I plan to launch my digital courses. I want to create one for professional organizers and how they can improve their brands and messaging as well as release my other one I've been sitting on called From Hot Mess to Living with Less where I break down a step by step on how to conquer clutter room by room. 📌🗄️
-- I also would like to engage with you more so I hope to post more often than I did last year. I hope to do a vlog a week which I’ll put on YouTube channel 🤞🏼. Any suggestions on what you’d like me to talk about on my reels?📸📹
-- I am still offering in home and virtual sessions. I am currently booking for the month of February and March so if you’d like to get a head start on your organizing, book your consult ASAP by visiting my website. 👩🏻‍💻
-- I’m trying to get my CPO-CD (Certified Pro Organizer in Chronic Disorganization) credentials by next year so I want to commit to finishing the levels to get there this year. (Also writing in public so that this holds me accountable). For those that have gotten theirs, any advice would be appreciated! 🎓📝
-- I would love to participate in podcasts/press more to talk about ADHD and how embracing organization can alleviate some of the stress it brings so I am putting it out there and let the Universe do it’s thing! 🎙️🗣️

That's it. I want to keep to keep it short. All I need from you is to send the good positive energy that I can do this and that I also hope that you attain the things you set yourself up this year!
