As businesses are still trying to figure how to help their employees work from home, it's important to think about your cybersecurity protocols. This is a good time to rethink how to keep your employees informed, how to secure information and what ways to share information with your team on how to communicate and store information.

Whether creating or refining your remote work plan it's important to review your current policies and work with your technology team about what is working, what isn't working and your goals moving forward.

When the country decides to slowly move from Mitigation to opening up businesses, your organization will need to look at your OSHA standards and practices. Some questions that come into mind are: What does your cleaning schedule looks like? What products do you use? Who will have access to cleaning products? Do you or will you hire professional cleaning and disinfecting companies?

Please look out our page below for guidelines from OSHA and their suggestions for your team.

http://covidbizresources.com/

In addition to cleaning practices, OSHA provides general tips for all workers and employers for control and prevention of COVID-19 as well as information as well as specific guidance for workers and employers involved select industries.

Questions:

What changes will your organization make for your employee handbooks in relation to these new OSHA best practices for COVID-19? What changes will you make to work schedules and practices? Will those changes vary by season (Fall,Winter,Spring,Summer) of best practices, expectations and processes? What will your process be for sick leave and PTO? These are just a few of the many questions to consider and answer as you maneuver through working while COVID changes our daily habits and work styles.
