If you live in California, make sure to vote in the recall election, but you may want to wait till the last minute so that you can see which candidates have the best chance of winning. Vote for the candidates even if you vote against the recall.

Note: We still don't have enough backers for our app dev so we are on hold to build the PVS app that would allow us to pre-register our voting preferences and provide guidance to vote strategically on election day. For now, our best bet is polling information published right before election day that indicates which candidates are most popular.

Every county has started mailing ballots for the . Remember whether you vote yes or no to recalling the Governor, you can cast a vote for a replacement candidate. Once you receive your ballot, you can complete it, seal it, sign it & return it.

Unpeaceful transition of power is more evidence that elections must be made transparent and that we need leaders who are accountable to the people and work to unite us rather than divide. The VoteMatrix project can help to ensure that election results are accurately predicted and we will work with election precincts to ensure election results are transparent and easily verifiable by the average citizen.

Thanks to everyone who voted! Democracy is dependent upon fair and open elections. Since many elections are close, it is very important that every vote is counted. If you submitted a mail-in ballot with tracking capability (some states), make sure to verify your ballot was received correctly. If there are any problems, contact your local election agency.

It's important to recognize that some fraud will occur in an election but we must not assume that it is significant enough to change the results. Vigilance in investigating fraud is our best defense until states update their elections systems to provide proper ballot tracking (similar to mail/package shipments).

Vote Early and if you are an independent, remember to sign up ahead of time for the party ballot that will give your vote the most sway. Your vote has more impact over state and local candidates than the presidency.
