Please stop the “accidental” litters.
So many people are breeding animals & calling it an accident — but it’s not. It’s about making a quick $30, $50 from a rehoming fee, & the worst part? That fee includes nothing.
No deworming, no vaccinations, no spay/neuter appointments.
It’s heartbreaking & truly disappointing.

During COVID, when the shelters were closed, I ran a small independent rescue out of my home. I rescued over 500 cats — yes, 500!
I made sure each one was dewormed, treated for fleas, groomed, vaccinated with FVRCP, & scheduled for spay/neuter.
They were loved, socialized by foster families in all over Placer County & Sacramento, litter trained, & seen by a professional vet for a wellness exam.
Every adopter got to meet their kitty in person. If a cat wasn’t old enough to be fixed yet, I scheduled the procedure & ensured follow-through with a signed contract. This is what true rescue looks like.

Please — stop breeding for profit.
$20, $30, $50 is not worth a life that may never get proper care.
Too many cats end up unvetted, sick, scared, & passed around.
We must do better — for them.

Adopt. Foster. Volunteer. Educate. Fix your pets.

They deserve more than a price tag.

Bubba, the golden cat, is the definition of affection 🧡. The sweetest cuddle pup, always craving touch-to-touch interaction 🐾. Whether it’s your hand, your legs, or just being on top of you, he loves to be close 💕. A true lap cat, always by your side like a little lap dog! 🐱💫
