There were a lot of emotions tied to the mission. But when the moment came, none of that could lead.

Not anger. Not history. Not the weight of what it meant. The training had to lead. The team had to lead. The mission had to lead.

That’s the difference between wanting something done and being prepared to do it. You trust the work. You trust the men beside you. And you do the job.
