“Plans are nothing; planning is everything.”
— Dwight D. Eisenhower
The movie Pressure, highlighting the 72 hours leading up to D-Day and starring Brendan Fraser, opens today in the United States. We feel Eisenhower’s famous quote has particular relevance to current happenings at Circle B Productions LLC.
Permit us to provide a brief update on several highlights:
1 — Olivia continues conducting telephone coaching sessions with all actors currently cast in Broken Ankle, which is scheduled to be recorded in radio drama format on November 7th and 8th. Once we recast the lead role of David Mendoza, we will be able to finalize the production budget and distribute written agreements to all 24 cast members.
2 — This week brought a development we had long anticipated. Seeing it officially confirmed through both email campaigns and public marketing efforts brought us tremendous excitement. Reallusion, our provider of 3D photorealistic animation software, has officially launched AI Studio for iClone.
As AI technology rapidly expanded throughout the entertainment industry, we strategically shifted our business focus toward developing new feature film screenplays in order to expand our slate of projects. AI Studio will allow us to dramatically reduce animation production time and significantly enhance our production capabilities moving forward.
3 — We’ve experienced major creative breakthroughs in the writing of our documentary screenplay, Brother Jonathan and the Dragon’s Teeth. Yes, we’ve decided to shorten the title.
Our decision to produce this unique film using AI-driven technology — with the exception of voice-over performances by live actors — required a substantial rewrite of previously completed material in order to align with the project’s new production parameters. We have established an August deadline for screenplay completion, and progress continues to look very promising.
For independent filmmakers, this is an extraordinary moment in time. The tools are changing, the barriers are falling, and stories once considered impossible to produce are now within reach. We look forward to sharing more as these projects continue to evolve.
