There’s no question that air conditioning can extend trailer travel season in much of the country and make life inside a little tin box a lot more enjoyable. Rooftop air conditioners look fine on modern RVs, but they just don’t look “period correct” on a vintage trailer. Wouldn’t it be nice if someone came up with a retro rooftop unit, or at the very least an aftermarket housing that would bolt on to an existing available unit?...

1972 Airstream Sovereign 31' For Sale. 90% original equipment. Newer awnings, tropic room (some patches), A/C, and mattresses. Reupholstered dinette seat cushions, custom OEM-style dark-out curtains, non-travel refrigerator. The trailer was towed to its current location in 1999 and has only been moved within the campground since. It would minimally need new tires and axle service, as it has not been on the road in years.
