One year ago today, the world officially met us on LEGO Masters Season 5 ❤️

We had been keeping this secret for SO long, and when that first episode finally aired… we were honestly terrified to see how everything would be edited and how our builds would be received.

But getting to experience all of this together as sisters is something we’ll always be grateful for.

One of our favorite memories was building our pink and purple “sister planet” during Rebuild the Galaxy. We chose it because we thought it was cute… only to later discover it connected to Dathomir in Star Wars lore — a planet tied to sisterhood. Somehow that felt meant to be ✨

A year later, we’re still building together, still creating, and still so thankful for everyone who supported and cheered us on through this unbelievable experience.

Two LEGO Masters contestants. One convention. One very chaotic challenge 😂

We had to walk around Brick Fan Event and find something that reminded us of each other. She absolutely understood the assignment… meanwhile I ended up building a custom minifigure version of her

This was such a fun way to explore the event and one of the cutest collaborations from the weekend.

A small shelf makeover somehow turned into a complete transformation for my LEGO space. ✨

This bookshelf is basically the command center of my room — business supplies, filming tools, LEGO books, electronics, and eventually display sets too.

I wanted to bring in warmer textures and natural tones so the background behind my videos felt more cozy and creative instead of just another wall of white storage.

There were IKEA trips. Walmart trips. Strip lights. A dramatic contact paper situation. 😂 But now it finally feels functional AND beautiful.

This is officially my favorite corner of the room now.

Introducing the Dynamo Bricks LEGO Color Palette — and yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like. 🎨

This Orlando-based company prints directly on LEGO tiles, and this build features every official LEGO color, labeled by name, displayed on the actual colored tile so you see exactly what you’re getting. No more guessing.

What I love most is that it’s designed to expand as new colors are released — no need to buy an entirely new set!

They also offer a separate kit with the BrickLink color names, which is a game changer if you order parts online since BrickLink and LEGO don’t always use the same names.

If you build, collect, or order LEGO parts regularly, this is honestly a must have for your workspace.

Stopped for a quick food break inside LEGO Kingdoms at LEGOLAND Florida 🏰🍟

Dragon’s Den is a medieval-themed quick service restaurant serving everything from hot dogs and bratwurst to giant turkey legs… but the Sidewinder Fries with chili, cheese, and jalapeños were definitely the star of the show for me.

I also loved how much shaded seating they had in this area — such a fun spot to slow down for a few minutes during a busy park day.

After an entire weekend in Kentucky… this is what came home with us 💛

Between the grand opening, meeting so many amazing people, and spending the weekend building together, we may have picked up a few LEGO sets along the way.

Also… apparently we now own tiny minifigure parachutes and immediately decided to launch each other off buildings with them. As normal adults do.

Totally worth it.

Merlin Entertainment — the company behind Legoland Florida — invited me to media day at Sea Life Orlando, and this was not my usual content. But how do you say no to mermaids? 🧜‍♀️

For select days throughout May, Sea Life Orlando is hosting live mermaids swimming right in the tanks with the marine life. The Meet a Mermaid experience is included with your admission — and if you have a Legoland Gold Pass or above, your entry to Sea Life is already covered.

There’s even a Tails of the Ocean passport program where you explore education stations, collect stamps, and earn a free mermaid sticker. It’s a perfect experience for families.

Collectible LEGO badges, custom name tags, and one of the coolest interactive experiences at Brick Fan Event !

I loved seeing Orlando-based LEGO printers Dynamo Bricks bring on-site badge printing back to the convention scene. Watching the badges get customized and printed live was such a fun addition to the event experience.

If you’re a collector, convention attendee, or just love unique LEGO experiences… this was a really fun one.

Coffee. Batteries. Snacks. Water. More batteries. Lunch.

If you’ve ever displayed at an event before… you already understand.

And honestly? I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

This is how it all went down, I feel so lucky!

For National Space Day LEGOLAND Florida Resort launched real family reactions from their brand-new Galacticoaster ride more than 100,000 feet above Earth.

Master Model Builders created a custom LEGO spaceship built from 410 LEGO elements and engineered it to withstand high-altitude conditions before sending it into the stratosphere on a high-altitude weather balloon.

Watching this happen with my daughter is such a cool early Mother’s Day gift.

This is what LEGO memories look like at the edge of space. 💛🚀
