Throwing it back today to one of the most influential people in the history of our sport—Ray Scott. Without Ray, bass fishing wouldn’t be what it is today. He didn’t just start B.A.S.S.—he built a platform that turned fishing into a professional sport, gave anglers a voice, and brought conservation to the forefront.

I’ll never forget the first time I met him—his passion, energy, and vision were unmatched. Ray believed in doing things the right way and making bass fishing something we could all be proud of. I owe a lot of my career to the foundation he laid.
