I vividly remember that first day back in school, exactly eight years ago today, in 2018. I was pursuing my graduate studies, a decision fueled by the inspiring stories of successful business leaders, many of whom were immigrants who came to the United States seeking better lives, pursuing higher education, and achieving incredible success.
One particular meeting stands out vividly. The managing partner shared his personal and professional goals for the year, outlining his aspirations with passion and clarity. He then invited each member of the management team to do the same. Everyone articulated a clear vision for their future, whether obtaining professional certifications or pursuing new ventures.
Traditionally, we are taught that the path to success is paved with degrees and traditional jobs. However, witnessing these driven individuals, some without formal degrees, achieve remarkable success challenged my assumptions about conventional wisdom.
