50+ year old 17+ foot shark Nukumi, the 'Queen of the Ocean'

Her tracking device stopped working in April 2021 after visiting the North Carolina coast, but they have no reason to believe she was harmed.

She is not believed to be the oldest or biggest white shark every recorded. That is Deep Blue thought to be 60+ and 20+ feet long. Scientists think great white sharks live up to 80 years.

The oldest shark ever found is a Greenland shark estimated to be about 400 years old.
The biggest sharks are whale sharks. The largest found was 61.7 feet.
