Edit: Hey Facebook friends! Sorry for the confusion on this post. This was posted on Instagram due to a situation revolving Instagram. It double posted here because that’s what our content does.
As you can imagine, this has been a lot to deal with as mothers and normal people with normal jobs outside of this space.
One of the people we considered a friend was accused of sexual harassment in the comments of an Instagram post. We reached out (and were reached out too) by multiple women in the community to better understand the situation before we publicly posted a statement. This communication was misinterpreted as silencing victims or defending the accused - we recognize that even though that wasn’t our intention it still caused harm. So that is the reason for the post. To stand with victims, to promote a safer community, and apologize for… well, being humans.
We apologize for this not being posted sooner.
We can and will do better for this community that we genuinely love so much.
