The young man in blue asked,
"Do you need a helper?"
I looked around, searching for something for him to do.
There was nothing for him to work on.
I looked at him with a soft smile and said,
"No, I'm sorry."
He then went on to tell me about his passion for design and how he had always wanted to get into photography.
He even pulled out his phone and showed me some of his work.
His father (kneeling with prayer hands) was extremely supportive of his son's dreams. His little brother seemed to be enjoying the day.
This young man made me think about my past.
He had the same desire I had 15 years ago.
I had a burning passion to get my hands on a camera and let my creativity flow.
Unfortunately, I didn’t know of a place that could help me build my skills, so I was forced to learn everything on my own.
While speaking with him, I felt reassured that I'm on the right path building a community media agency.
A place where young people like him can be paid and trained to work in media.
These skills could help them build their personal brand and eventually provide for the family they love.
I hope to see him and his family again soon.
I’m excited to keep LOVE I AM going strong.
