Have you heard of the new changes to Sac State’s academic realm?
The new course catalog has made major changes to the General Education Program requirements for incoming freshmen. Students enrolled before fall 2025 are still under the old catalog, but are free to switch to the new one.
The RPTA department has also been disbanded, splitting students and faculty into three different departments in the College of Health and Human Services.
Lastly, the Women’s and Gender Studies department has the support of Sac State’s Faculty Senate following the closure of similar programs at other CSUs such as Sonoma State.

From Sep. 22-24, Rosh Hashanah 2025 rings in the Hebrew year of 5786 with religious services, traditional foods like apples and honey and the blowing of the shofar.
