Another travesty, brought about by someone likely in a mental health depression. Each and every time someone enters a public space and commits an atrocity like this, we need to open our eyes and see what's happening. We can prevent tragedies like this by paying attention to our neighbors, our communities. By not ignoring those we see struggling with mental health. Like the TSA model- see something, say something. We can be the difference.

I try not to clog up your feed with useless drivel. Please take a moment and share this message. The more people who know where they can obtain gun locks, the safer our neighborhoods, children and families will be.

Securing a firearm with the use of a gun lock is one simple thing gun owners can do to ensure the safety of all within their household.
The Duluth Police Department partnered with the MN Department of Public Safety and Moms Demand Action to provide this extra security to members of our community.

As of April 2025, MN residents who are between the ages of 18-21 can now apply for their Permit To Carry. The PTC course certificate is valid for one year, which means anyone over age 17 can now take this class.

If you have already completed your Hunter Safety course, you are entitled to an additional $25 off your first time Permit class, and pay only $85! Prior to registration you must submit proof of completion of your Hunter Safety course to the instructor.

Also, Get 3 students to register and your class is FREE!

Greetings! It's been a stressful few weeks for those who have lost loved ones to gun violence recently. My heart goes out families and friends anytime someone is laid to rest as a result of negligent actions like this.

Like many, I don't have the answers to prevent gun violence, however I do promote gun safety. In my permit to carry classes, defensive shooting fundamentals, protecting your congregation and Continuing Education for Real Estate Agents- all things start from safety.

Remember mindfulness, situational awareness, and above all- check in on those who may be struggling mentally. Mental health is a common factor in any type of violence. Be good to each other and stay safe!
