Where are my real estate agents?

For our 3rd year, ITF is offering Continuing Education to Agents in need. The course, 'Real Estate Agent Safety & Self Defense' is a 2 hour long, live and fully interactive online training, set to teach you about situational awareness, de-escalation, non lethal self defense techniques- and more- to keep you safe on the job.

The cost is $25 per agent; dates of availability and registration can be found on the link below. With over a dozen dates scheduled for 2026 there's guaranteed to be one that'll work for you!

Nic Jordan- owner/instructor of ITF- is a MN Dept of Commerce Certified producer of CE. The course ID is 1038338.

Securing a firearm with the use of a gun lock is one simple thing gun owners can do to ensure the safety of all within their household.
The Duluth Police Department partnered with the MN Department of Public Safety to provide this extra security to members of our community.

While supplies last, you can pick up a FREE cable gun lock at the Public Safety Building (2030 N Arlington Ave).

Ok , All the gifts may have been unwrapped, but here's a special something to gnaw on... In 2025 the state of MN amended the age of carry from 21 to 18. When you take a Permit To Carry class, the certificate of completion (that you'll need to apply for your carry permit) is valid for 1 year. So, if you are age 17 or older, you can start your firearm safety journey now! And here's my final gift- if you are between 17-21- I'm offering to teach you for the cost of a renewal class if you have already completed hunter safety!

Our next MN Permit To Carry class will officially be slated for March 8th, 2026! Classes in 2026 will be held either on Saturday or Sunday, so whip out your calendars and watch for these additional dates:
March 8, April 19, May 31, June 5, July 12, August 15, August 23, September 26, October 4 and November 15.

So I wanted to do a parody on the 12 days of christmas, but I'm not that clever. So I went to the old google machine and searched "12 days of Christmas but with gun safety" and this is what I found. You're welcome.
