I was told it is tradition to play Piano Man at the wedding at 9:00 pm. Not only did we play it, but I managed to mix it in without stopping flow so it landed perfectly on time.

I am sure plenty of other DJs can do it, but this is just another detail that most might not pay attention to. I do.

Loved seeing how it played out perfectly.

We blew the roof off tonight! We started with the classics and then with a flip of the switch, we went into heavy hip hop mode.

Lately it’s becoming more and more a thing for my couples to say “just mix the songs how you want to play them”

Which to me means they trust my judgement to not only curate the vibe, but take risks and play remixes. I know not everyone likes a remix, but I feel like we’re chasing energy here and sometimes that needs a high energy remix.

I was given guidance of “we love what you do and we trust you” so I made sure to hit them with this brand new edit from 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐳

2024, Labor Day weekend. I performed at the Delamar in the ballroom. It was a Sunday. I get a DM one week later.

“Hey were you the DJ at the wedding Sunday Labor Day weekend? We are looking to book you for our wedding. We were in the room above you and we both said “we need this guy immediately!”

Fast forward to 2026… we are at the Delamar, on Sunday Labor Day weekend, DJing their wedding!

Tonight was wedding two for this weekend! Tonight we celebrated Lauren and Paul Wolmarans! A bunch of family flew in from South Africa and other far places! We had some classic South African songs and just an amazing day.
