Optimus Prime the Sulcata and friends Optimus Prime is our 17 year old sulcata tortoise. He has been part of the family since August 2009 when he was just a baby and fit in the palm of our hand.

He loves living in Central Florida and we love sharing his antics with all of you.

NATIONAL CRUSH A CAN DAY

On September 27, National Crush a Can Day dedicates time to educating the country about the benefits of recycling. We have some quick smashing information to share on this day!



Aluminum cans are the second most recycled material after steel in the United States. Not only is aluminum 100% recyclable, but it also uses 95% less energy to recycle an old can into a new one. However, we still throw out more than 1 million tons of aluminum each year. Unlike some recyclables, aluminum can be recycled over and over.
