[MENDOTA HEIGHTS] The next Bricksworth Beer Co. location is officially taking shape.

Construction is now underway in Mendota Heights on the Detroit-style pizza and brewery concept’s third Twin Cities location, marking the company’s first new restaurant since opening in Minneapolis’ North Loop.

Known for its Detroit-style pizza, house-brewed beer, and scratch kitchen, Bricksworth has built a loyal following since opening in Burnsville in 2020. Now, the company is preparing to bring its brewery and restaurant concept to a new corner of the metro.

[BLOOMINGTON] Ariat is bringing its largest store yet to Mall of America.

The western apparel and workwear brand is opening its first standalone Minnesota location next to L.L.Bean in the former Bloomingdale’s wing, adding another major national retailer to one of the mall’s fastest-evolving retail corridors.

With Primark also preparing to open nearby, this portion of MOA is continuing its shift toward larger-format flagship concepts and nationally recognized brands.

[BLOOMINGTON] One of west Bloomington’s sea-of-parking-lots corners could be getting a major residential makeover.

Chase Real Estate is proposing a new two-phase apartment redevelopment next to Wells Fargo Plaza along Xerxes Avenue. Phase 1 would bring a six-story building with up to 275 apartments, structured parking wrapped by housing, rooftop amenities, and a large landscaped courtyard facing the street.

The proposal is another sign that the American Boulevard corridor is starting to evolve beyond office campuses and oversized parking fields. A future second phase would add another residential building near Southtown Drive.

[LAKEVILLE] Your future Domino’s pizza crust may soon start its journey near Interstate 35 and County Road 70 in southwest Lakeville.

A new Domino’s Supply Chain Center has been approved within Interstate South Logistics Park as warehouse and distribution development continues expanding farther south in the metro. The facility will support Domino’s locations across the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota through onsite dough production, refrigerated storage, fleet operations, and regional distribution activity.

Most people only see the pizza shop. This is the part that keeps all the ingredients, dough, and deliveries moving behind the scenes.

[EDINA] West Elm is relocating to Galleria 👀
And it’s part of a bigger shift happening there.

West Elm is moving from Centennial Lakes, just a few blocks down the same stretch of France Avenue, into the former Rejuvenation space at Galleria, right between Pottery Barn and Pottery Barn Kids.

Whether you’ve been through Galleria lately or not, there’s a noticeable shift happening here. This corner is quickly turning into a go-to spot for home design brands, and this move adds another big piece to it.

Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, Pottery Barn Teen, and Williams Sonoma are already here. With West Elm joining them, nearly the entire Williams-Sonoma Inc. home lineup will be in one place. Not by accident.

[CHASKA] There is a lot happening at the Arboretum right now, so we figured we would fill you in.

The new Apple House is the most visible piece, but it is only part of a much larger transformation taking shape across the site.

A new entrance, updated roadways, and a reworked arrival experience are all coming together.

[BLOOMINGTON] A Tennessee dessert concept is heading to Mall of America.

Cotton & Snow is opening on the south side of the mall near Chipotle, Sugar Factory Express, and the South Food Court corridor. If you’ve walked that area, you know how busy it gets throughout the day.

Most of their locations today are in the South and Texas, so seeing Minnesota come next is a bit unexpected. It’s also one of the first times they’re stepping into their own standalone space instead of being inside a food hall or paired with another concept.

The concept leans into shaved ice, cotton candy, and soft serve, with everything made out in the open so you can actually watch it come together. Some of their existing locations have also leaned into alcohol-based desserts, which could be something to watch as Minnesota laws evolve and the concept expands locally.

[WOODBURY] Dirty soda just landed in Woodbury, with 100+ ways to order it.

Bevvie is now open along Eagle Creek Lane, a locally owned concept bringing a customizable drink experience to the East Metro. Drinks start familiar, then build with creams, fruit, and add-ins that turn each one into something completely your own.

It’s a format that’s been gaining traction across the region, and now it has a place in Woodbury.

[FALCON HEIGHTS] One of the parking lots near the State Fair’s North Entrance could be turning into housing.

A new 55+ apartment project with over 100 units is being proposed along Larpenteur Avenue, replacing an underutilized site just north of the fairgrounds. It’s a spot a lot of people recognize, especially during fair season, but it only really fills up for a short stretch each year.

The project would bring income-restricted senior housing to the area, and construction could begin as soon as this summer.

[ST. LOUIS PARK] FS8 has opened its first Minnesota location near Bass Lake.

The Australian-born fitness concept brings a hybrid studio format to the area, combining reformer Pilates, tone, and yoga into a single low-impact workout experience. The studio focuses on full-body movement through guided, instructor-led sessions designed to be simple and effective.

Classes are led by supportive trainers in a welcoming environment, offering an accessible format for a wide range of experience levels. The addition introduces a new wellness-focused tenant along the Bass Lake corridor.
