Airplane Crash in Washington County - Shortly after 10:00 a.m. on Feb. 28th crews responded to reports of an aircraft crash south of Hurricane near the Utah-Arizona border.

Upon arrival, paramedics confirmed that the sole occupant of the aircraft was deceased.

Brush 41, Medic 43, and Battalion 44 responded to the incident, along with personnel from the Bureau of Land Management, Utah Department of Natural Resources, and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation.

All further media inquiries should be directed to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
