A major reason why we decided to uproute the life we was living was for my girls.

We didn’t live a terrible life, I didn’t come as a refugee. We just felt like it was time, we are still in our early 30s and if we was going to do a move so big now was the time.

But a huge reason is to give the girls a life I never dreamed I could give them.

The world is their oyster. 🇺🇸🇬🇧

One of my absolute favourite things to do and go was camping in Big Sur !! Such an amazing place to have oceans one side and redwood trees the other.

Southern utah is really something else🇺🇸

It’s wild that we went from rainy and green Cornwall, England to dry and sunny southern Utah where all you see is beautiful red dirt hills.

I wasn’t sure if I’d miss the greenery of England but it’s so easy to pop over to the mountains from Hurricane, UT…that’s why I love where we live you can go from desert, drive an hour and you’re in the snowy mountains. 🙌🏽

I was talking to my wife last night about how optimistic I feel for the future now that we’re in America 🇺🇸. I never felt this way when we were back in England 🇬🇧.

I truly believe I can make something of myself here — for me and for my family
and that if I work hard enough, we can build a life I once only dreamed about.

That’s why I think the American Dream is still alive and well. People don’t always realize the level of opportunity here, which simply doesn’t exist in most other countries. In America, if you’re willing to work hard, you can create a life you never thought was possible 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
