I woke up this morning to all kinds of news on the radio, as I usually listen to radio broadcasts covering news, sports, and mostly the Bloomberg economy while driving.

Recently, I have been tuning into the developments in Africa and its political issues on the global stage.

As an African, a small business founder, and a brand owner, I believe that Africa needs its own peace, services, development, and justice.

We have the United Arab Emirates, the European Union, and the United States—so why not a United Africa?

If we Africans express what we want, who has the right to say it’s not good for us? Think about it.

If we Africans are saying we want to explore our own paths and be less dependent on others, what gives anyone the right to dismiss our desires?

That’s why we should stand with Africa.
