El Sazon Night at the Gas Station
Guest chef Yia Vang was a great experience!

Both chefs curated a menu that brought a twist of authentic Mexican x Hmong cuisine using products you’d find in the gas station.

As a hot cheeto lover, I truly enjoyed the deep fried chicken batter in cheetos and the Shrimp taquito. Not going to lie, if I had more of that sushi it would’ve been a hitter too! Ecuadorian hot dog was an interesting take! As for drinks I love the jarrito inspired mix and the green pandan mix.

This experience is open to the public and is around $120 for a round of 5-7 courses with mocktail pairings with each dish. Though it looked small, I felt like it filled me up quite well.
As my second time at one of these events I wish I would’ve knew the theme before going into it. I thought it would have been a mix of true authentic Mexican x Hmong cuisine. I did still enjoy the experience and hope for more like El Sazon did with Chef Louross.
