I truly love helping my clients stand out from the crowd...and showcase who they are and how they can help their clients. It gives me fuel to keep going when things get tough.

It's that time of year again! The CAF's Spring Swing Big Band Hangar Dance and it's coming up fast! Join them on Saturday, June 14, 2025.

The Commemorative Air Force Minnesota Wing has been hosting the USO-style swing dances since the mid-1980s, and while the formal hasn't changed, it's an evening of fun. Music is provided by the Roseville Big Band, which transports everyone right back to the 1940s. The backdrop is the museum's aircraft and a beautiful hangar, made during WWII in preparation for the war. While I love all the airplanes they have, the B-25 "Miss Mitchell" is a personal favorite. If music and WWII airplanes weren't enough, there is also a free dance lesson at 7 pm from the amazing TC Swing! Terry and Cindy, the group's owners, have also been hosting the dance lesson for years, and the event wouldn't be complete without them.

During the evening, get ready for an exciting Vintage Clothing contest. If vintage fashion is your passion, this is your chance to shine and bring your A-Game!

There's no need to worry about food before the event! Two amazing local food trucks will keep you fueled as you dance the night away. Enjoy Cheeky Chicks and Crystals Concessions until 11 p.m. Plus, they have a variety of drinks available, including beer, wine, cider, pop, and water.

If you still need to tour the CAF Museum, you're in for a treat. As I write this, new museum cases are being constructed, which you can see during the event. The CAF also has a great PX (gift shop) to get a souvenir, and as I mentioned earlier, you can see and take photos with most of their aircraft.

Thanks to for the Challenge! Last week (yes, I’m a week behind) the challenge was to donate or consign something you no longer wear and I found a bag full. I love working with Nancy to help me find “new to me” pieces at local consignment stores or online while repurposing my old items! When was the last time you bought something second hand? 🌍♻️
