DEAR EXHAUSTED TEACHERS

Some exhaustion is self imposed. Ask yourself is the exhaustion you’re experiencing a direct result of stepping far outside your professional lane?

Your job is to teach core subjects — not to promote or encourage any particular lifestyle, sexual identity, or ideology to other people’s children.

Stay in your lane as an educator, respect parental rights, and don’t exhaust yourself.

TEACHER CLAIMS VICTIMHOOD AFTER YEARS OF PUBLIC TRANSGENDER ADVOCACY — BUT WHAT ABOUT THE KIDS?

Independence Elementary Kindergarten Teacher Becky Hormuth (~20:24) spoke as a victim of supposed bullying and defamation, asking the board for more staff protections.

Questions that need answers:

• Why is it that when the truth is shared about policies affecting children, staff get to become the victim — while innocent children (including kindergarteners!) are expected to quietly accept changes to bathrooms, social transitions, or gender ideology without their parents’ full knowledge and consent?

• Is it not true your own child has transitioned?

• Was there not news media coverage in which you voluntarily participated?

• Did you not stand up at multiple public school board meetings advocating against sex-based policies for district facilities?

• Was the child who came home asking why they’d want to be a boy not connected to your classroom?

Parents aren’t harassers for asking hard questions and protecting their kids. The double standard is clear: data and parental rights matter. Watch the full meeting and decide for yourselves.

SCHOOL FUNDING REALITY CHECK: STOP THE ENDLESS MONEY REQUESTS - THE DATA DOESN’T LIE — WHY IS IT NEVER ENOUGH?

Hey School Board — what’s your story this time? Blaming the state doesn’t work when the data shows revenue is UP $7.1M this year and $17M over five years. Try again.

At last night’s FHSD Board meeting, Carl Suri (the man in the orange shirt) delivered one of the clearest, most data-driven explanations I’ve heard about school funding.

He didn’t get emotional. He just walked through the actual numbers:

• District revenue is now $245 million — up $7.1 million this year alone

• That increase came entirely from the state (up 10.75%)

• Over the last five years, state revenue is up $17 million — a 32% increase

• Per-student state funding is at an all-time high, even after inflation

His point was simple and hard to argue with: the money keeps going up, yet the district still acts like it’s never enough. He questioned why we keep hearing calls for more local taxes or fund transfers when the data shows revenue has been rising steadily.
