Something that makes me smile is being a Wondermaker! I had my interview with Ginny Curtis Phillips and Wondermakers Travel while in Vermont celebrating one of my best friend’s birthdays. It may seem ironic to have become a travel agent while I was traveling, but it was also perfect timing! I was recently retired from 31 years of teaching Kindergarten, and wondered what my next adventure would be. When asked to pick a vacation spot that holds a special memory, I scrolled through my photos to find this one. Not a theme park. Not a tourist destination. Not what you probably expected. I love coming to the house my grandpa built on the Suwannee River. I have pictures of it being built and of me sliding down the riverbank with my brother. I have pictures of my daughter reading on the dock and of my husband enjoying time away from his busy job. I have pictures of the nearby bridge, the animal footprints left on the shore, and so many more. I have come with my mom, my aunt, my friends and by myself. From memories of going on summer break to memories of family gathered to celebrate the holidays, this place is special. I love to walk down the country road, sit and watch the boats go by, and have s’mores around the fire pit. But mostly I love to sit and exhale. There is lots of time to relax, read a book and just be. The rapid pace of the world is a little slower and it does me good to do nothing occasionally. What place is special to you? Paris is always a good idea! I loved going to Paris in 2016. This trip began as the Castle-to-Chateau challenge with runDisney but this trip was so much more than just races! I went to Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney Studios, explored the city with family and friends, ate delicious food and made so many magical memories!

Planning your own vacations and exploring new places is fun, but one of my most favorite trips was the Southern California and Disneyland tour with Adventures by Disney. The two guides who lead the tour were able to provide expert knowledge and give us unexpected surprises too. I loved getting behind the scenes of the theme parks and rides, learning about Disneyland’s history, going to the Walt Disney Imagineering and Archives, eating at the Tam O’Shanter restaurant, seeing Henson Studios, exploring Hollywood and the walk of fame, watching a movie at the El Capitan theatre, and so much more! It was nice to let someone else manage the details so I could enjoy the vacation from beginning to end. Let me book your trip today so you can start having your own adventure!

Sometimes vacations seem perfect until they aren’t. That’s where I come as your TA (travel agent) to help save the day! I want you to have the most amazing trip ever, and I will work from quoting through completion. One time a client had not linked her Walt Disney World tickets or resort to her MyDisneyExperience app, and couldn’t book lightning lanes or dining reservations. I was able to help, and made sure she was ready to go before she even left home. She got to relax and enjoy her vacation without any stress! It was SUPER!
