As we approach the peak of hurricane season, we have nothing to stress about in the near term.
Most models show this system making a turn NE with a few outliers.

We survived the summer! It was a hot one but not a record breaker.
2011 was the warmest summer on record. The previous record summer to that was 2010 with an average mean temperature of 83.9 F. The previous record was 1993.

Front dipped a little further south than initially thought.

Our science still cannot always produce an accurate forecast but it's getting better.

So now .. update is calling for 1 to 2 inches of rain between 10pm and 2am tonight.
Showers in the am then windy.
