Happy Friday!!! We made it!

Now that Facebook seems to be back up and running, I wanted to share a little happy mail that showed up. Yes… more mail! 😂

BabyMadrona is such an amazing person. I’m not showing everything since it was personalized just for me, but can we take a moment to appreciate these adorable stickers she made with her logo. They are amazing!

I am constantly reminded how thankful I am for the incredible people and community I’ve found here. There are truly some wonderful souls in this little corner of the internet.

Guess who’s heading into another heat wave?Thankfully the garden seems to be loving it! We’ve got beautiful lettuce coming in and the herbs are finally starting to take off. I only picked a little oregano and some thyme tonight, and I still haven’t decided if I’m drying them or using them over the next few days.

One little easy trick I love is wrapping fresh herbs in a damp paper towel and popping them in the fridge overnight while I decide what I’m doing with them. It helps keep them nice and fresh!

How is everybody else doing weather and garden wise? What’s growing well for you right now?

I haven’t been around much lately because I haven’t been feeling the best, so having this show up today seriously could not have come at a better time. I am beyond grateful and so excited!

A huge thank you to Imp And The Witch Way for her incredible kindness. She sent me a box of crushed amazonite, and she also included the cutest little card featuring Imp. I absolutely adore it! I already know my little one is going to claim it all for herself. With her current fairy obsession, I have a feeling we’ll be using the crushed amazonite for something magical and fairy related together.

I’ve purchased from her multiple times now, and I have honestly never been disappointed. Everything she creates is beautiful, and she always puts so much thought and care into what she does.

I am so thankful for this wonderful page and the amazing community I’ve been lucky enough to find through it. The kindness and connections here mean so much.

Officially have garlic scapes!! 🧄

This isn’t all of them, just the first batch!

Those of you who grow garlic, what are your favorite things to do with them?

Tonight I’ll be using some in a chicken stir fry, and I know a lot of the rest will be blended down with a little olive oil and frozen into cubes so we have them ready to go straight from the freezer whenever we need them.

This is the time of year I truly love. All the love, hard work, and yes… even the frustration that gets poured into the garden is finally starting to show. There’s something so rewarding about seeing everything begin to come together and being able to enjoy the harvest after months of planning and tending.

Here are just a few of the blooms from my yard today. We got hit pretty hard by last night’s storm, so some of them are just starting to perk back up. Thankfully everything seems to have made it through, even if they’re looking a little worse for wear today. It shows how resilient the garden truly can be.

Happy Saturday!!

I managed to grab a strawberry today before the bunnies did. Anybody who grows them knows what a win that is. 😂

Was it fully ripe? Nope. Was it still a million times better than store bought? Absolutely.

Once the rest start blushing, I’ll be covering them with nets. I love when the garden starts giving back!

Happy Friday! 🖤

Keep an eye out for an upcoming post… I’ll be doing a waffle for a cast iron cauldron!

It’s brand new and has never been used. The outside is enameled, while the inside is traditional cast iron. I already have the cauldrons I need, and I’d love to get this one into the hands of someone who will enjoy it.

You all know I love doing a good giveaway, but this thing is HEAVY. The waffle is going to help cover packing and shipping costs. I’m still doing some math on how many spots and what the cost per spot will be.

I also want to be completely transparent and note that there is a small chip in the enamel on the outside. It does not affect the usability of the cauldron and it is still fully safe to use. It’s absolutely beautiful and deserves a good home. I’ll be posting photos when the waffle goes live so you can see exactly what I mean. This is for US only and I’m only using venm0 for now.
