🐾 Day 1 of 10: My Life Is Good

Apparently happiness is a giant piece of watermelon and absolutely no concern about who has to clean up afterward. 😂🍉

Thank you Amaya the German Shepherd for choosing us to help spread a little joy. ❤️🐾

Today, I choose Presley the Chihuahua and Pichu the Siamese Cat to continue spreading 10 days of photo/video joy. ❤️💫

I got a DM about using an air compressor around my dogs and the cleaner I was using while washing the kennel. Apparently the dogs were being traumatized and poisoned right before everyone’s eyes. 😂

For the record, I use Simple Green because it’s EPA Safer Choice certified, septic-safe, non-caustic and phosphate-free. I use Simple Green throughout my home, patio and kennel area, including around the gardens. Nothing ever dies, and everything gets rinsed down.

But the DM actually got me thinking.
Desensitization has always been a huge part of how I raise my dogs, and I’m realizing it needs a lot more focus in the whole-life dog companion app I’m building.

I want to make sure I’m not missing or overlooking anything, so I’m curious:
What is your dog afraid of, or what do you wish you had exposed them to earlier?
