I’m honored to be this week’s Guest Designer for and to share this meaningful 12x12 page.

This page is a tribute to the Hill Country Strong Wall of Hope in Kerrville, Texas—a memorial filled with flowers, tears, and so much love. I used the Pretty Florals and Everyday Details Arches bundles from to recreate that emotion through layered florals, bold colors, and heartfelt details.

I created the checkerboard background using the light sides of Two-Tone Cardstock in Timid Tiger and Flirty Flamingo, and added shimmer with Wink of Stella splatter and extra detail with Stampin’ Write Markers.

The sentiment was curved around a large arch by trimming the stamp—just one little way to stretch your supplies creatively.

💬 My journaling reads:

“P.S. I’ll never forget how our community came together. Each flower, each light, each tear was a prayer for healing.”

will be sharing this page Friday, July 18th, and casing it LIVE on their feed. I can’t wait to see how this inspires others to create from the heart. 💗

Today, Debbie and I had the honor of dropping off these handmade cards to in Boerne, TX — each one created with love to encourage the first responders on the front lines of the Kerr County flood relief efforts. 💌🚒🚑

Our prayer is that these cards bring a bit of light, hope, and strength to those who are serving so selflessly. Thank you for all you do. 🤍

Today’s layout was more than just paper and ink—it was a reflection of faith, community, and hope after the recent floods in Kerr County.

Using the Kintsugi Inspirations Suite Collection, I pieced together patterns and golden seams to tell a story of resilience. Just like the art of Kintsugi reminds us—our broken places can become the most beautiful when they’re mended with light and love.

📸 I included photos that document both the devastation and the healing.
🖋️ My journaling speaks of quiet strength, helping hands, and God’s presence in the cracks.
✨ And my favorite part? The faux Kintsugi technique using gold accents to highlight the healing, not hide the hurt.

Let this be a reminder: Even when life feels fractured, God is near—and there is still beauty to be found in the brokenness.

In today’s Make It Monday Live, I’m creating a 12x12 scrapbook layout using the Kintsugi Inspirations Suite Collection—and sharing a piece of my heart.

This page is titled “Beauty in the Brokenness,” inspired by the recent flooding in Kerr County, Texas, and the strength I’ve seen rise in the middle of it. Just like the ancient art of Kintsugi—where broken pottery is mended with gold—I believe God meets us in our broken places and fills the cracks with His light.

You’ll see how I:
Use Designer Series Paper to represent brokenness
Add gold metallic details to symbolize healing and hope
Build meaningful clusters around photos and journaling
Reflect on Psalm 34:18 – “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted…”

Whether you’re scrapbooking your own story of restoration or simply looking for a faith-filled creative outlet, I hope this project encourages you to see the beauty that can come through pain.

Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more faith-based crafting inspiration.

Welcome to our Mail It Monday – Unofficial Artisan Facebook Hop for July 14, 2025! 💌 Today we’re celebrating the joy of sending handmade cards with a little encouragement tucked inside.

I created this faith-filled card using the Kintsugi Inspirations Suite Collection, inspired by the idea that even in our brokenness, God’s light can shine through. This sentiment—“You inspire me”—felt like the perfect message to send someone who needs a reminder of their worth.

🎃 Artisan July 2025 InstaHop – Group 1 🎃 Welcome to this month’s Artisan Design Team InstaHop! We’re featuring the Spooky Sweet Suite Collection, and the creativity this month is off the charts—cards, tags, treat bags, mini-albums, and scrapbook pages, all with a spooky twist!

I’m sharing this playful Halloween mini-album featuring my daughter Bevyn dressed as the cutest little fairy. I used pieces from the Spooky Sweet collection to bring this memory from October 2011 to life—bright colors, whimsical creatures, and fun layered details made this so joyful to create. I even added a little story journaling to one of the pages, because these memories are too sweet not to tell. 💜🧡💚

From Artisan Design Team member Pamela Blackwell ():

“Hi, I’m Pamela from Fredericksburg, Texas! For this 12” x 12” scrapbook page, I captured nine years of December memories with my husband. I used the Jolly Holly Bundle and Two-Tone Cardstock to create embossed holly borders, then mitered the corners to form custom corner strips that frame the page with festive texture and charm.”

Today, Debbie and I spent time putting together card kits to send to those directly affected by the Kerrville flood, along with thank you cards and notes of encouragement for those helping in the recovery efforts.

While we crafted, we received the news this morning that my cousin Steve, who had been missing, was found. We are heartbroken to share that he did not survive. Even in the midst of such deep grief, we’re holding tight to the truth that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted.

Creating these cards became a way to work through the sorrow while sending love and hope to others facing loss and devastation. When words fall short, a handmade card can carry peace.

If you’d like to join us in sending cards or helping in any way, message me. Every small act matters.
