You Awaken In A Strange Place answers the question: "What do you want to play today?" 💭 by making it so that you can play ANYTHING. A battle of the bands? A haunted Starbucks? A space heist? It's up to you!

** The System **
It's best to go in as unprepared as possible so you're ready to work with the table, but if you'd like to know more system details are below.

This game has three phases: We create the world and the rules that this world lives by, we create the characters you all will be playing (and the rolled checks we will make), and finally your Storyteller takes a moment before we play the adventure! Within two hours, we will have both created the world and a story to tell IN that world.

🎌 Last chance alert! Pre-Registration for San Japan 2025 3-Day at its lowest officially ends today, July 14th at 11:59 PM Central Time.

🕛 Here's what that means:

✅ Today is the final day to grab 3-day passes at pre-registration prices.
❌ Starting tomorrow, prices go up and refunds are no longer available.
🎟️ Child and multi-day passes are available now, but 1-day and 2-day passes won’t go on sale until July 15th at 9:00 PM Central.

7 Evil Exes

How will Senpai ever notice you when he’s been kidnapped *again*?!?

Members of a band are forced to confront their unrequited love for their senpai front man when seven of his exes kidnap him. Are you a bad enough waifu to take on a globe-trotting whirlwind music tour and get him back?

** Tactical Waifu **

In Tactical Waifu you’ll be armed with a d6 and a number 2-5 to remember when rolling. As you work to save Senpai and hopefully earn his love, you may use social, aka “Waifu” skills or fight, aka “Tactical” skills. Roll above your number to succeed on a Waifu skill or below your number to succeed on a Tactical check.

As you hurry to save your Senpai, you’ll track your body count and collect an explosion of coins from each kidnapper you take down. Use your coins for upgrades to help in your mission and finally catch Senpai’s attention.
