Sometimes we hurt the very things we want to protect, not because our hearts are empty, but because they are overflowing. I once killed a plant by giving it too much water. I thought I was helping, but in my care I drowned it. That is how I learned that even good intentions can be harmful in excess. We pour and pour, believing that more is always better, but even love can become heavy when it does not give space to breathe.

True care is not measured by how much we give, but by how wisely we give. It is knowing when to step forward and when to step back. It is patience, it is balance, it is trust. To love deeply is not to smother, but to nurture in a way that allows another soul to grow strong on its own.
