😮💨 Yesterday was a busy day for a few of us! Brahma Babe, BD and 210 Brahmacita made it a day of giving back to the community and represented the team and fans of our San Antonio Brahmas!
We started by kicking off year 3 with James Carr II and volunteering with Box of Dreams school supply distribution and headed to Neil Armstrong Elementary School where we handed out school supplies to kiddos Kinder - 5th grade with the help of Bravo! The kiddos LOVED Bravo!
We then had a little break where we venture out for lunch and shopping at Target where we were stopped and talked to about Brahmas. Just from being in a trio and wearing our gear!
We then made our way to San Antonio Food Bank with several of our ticket & experience managers, Evan Ashton and a few of our Brahmas staff to bag produce. After 2.5 hours and a small crew of ourselves and a few other volunteers, we finished 360 bags of produce! Broken down, that’s over 9,000 lbs of produce and even more eye opening, over 6,500 meals! 🥹. To say this filled our cup is an understatement!
I know the league feels “unstable” in some markets. Instead of complaining, how about trying to get some fans together and go out and volunteer in your community? Plan an outing at another local sports team and show up in UFL team gear. The amount of people we talked to, just as fans, wasn’t vast, but it did its job. Then post, go live and tag your team! Get to know your front office because they’ve been the biggest help to us!
We’ve done this since day 1, before the team name was announced. We’ve worked tirelessly as fans, to do our part for a sports league that’s just starting. We will keep doing it until the wheels fall off! Horns Forward!
