Saturday, October 18th from 1 PM to 5 PM at beautiful MacArthur Park, 1611 Northeast Loop 410, San Antonio, Texas.
We’re calling on our amazing community to help make a difference in the lives of foster children. All you have to do is drop off new or gently used books and new blankets and know that your gift will bring warmth, comfort, and joy to a child in need.
Every book sparks imagination. Every blanket wraps a child in love. ❤️
So, grab a friend, bring your donations, and let’s show these kids that their village is here for them!

📢 The Child Welfare Board Hair-A-Thon is Back! ✂️💇‍♀️💇‍♂️
Volunteer Stylists Needed

San Antonio, TX – The Bexar County Child Welfare Board (BCCWB) is thrilled to announce the 2025 CWB Hair-A-Thon, happening Wednesday, August 6, from 9 AM – 12 PM at LEE High School (1400 Jackson Keller Rd, San Antonio, TX 78213).

This is one of our most meaningful community events of the year providing FREE, professional haircuts to children and youth in foster and kinship care, helping them feel confident and ready for the new school year. ✏️📚

💙 How You Can Help:
We’re calling on stylists, barbers, and braiders across San Antonio to volunteer their time and talent. Just a few hours in the chair can make a HUGE difference for a child starting the school year.
