MY KIDS TELL ME EVERYTHING 😊
I overheard my 21-year-old daughter telling a friend that she tells her mom everything and sometimes even after the fact. She’s right—my daughters do open up to me about almost everything, except they feel it’s unnecessary info🤭😁

Often, they start conversations with, “Mom, I have a confession.” In my usual calm demeanor, I look up from what I’m doing, maintaining a composed expression, even when my inner mom anxiety is on high alert. 😁

Here’s the key moment: regardless of what their “confession” entails, I don’t let my emotions take over. Instead, I focus on asking what lessons they learned from the experience. Then we move on.

There are no snide remarks, no questioning their choices, and definitely no “I told you so.” We simply talk about the lessons learned and keep the conversation flowing.

Parenting doesn’t come with a manual; we all learn as we go. But one thing I can share for navigating life with Gen Z and Gen Alpha is this: create a safe, non-judgmental space so your kids feel comfortable coming to you with anything.

The OMA Bridgeton Ball was an ABSOLUTE BLAST… OMG. Don’t think I have had thar much fun at a party like this one in a while.
Food✅Music✅ MC✅ Vibe✅✅✅

Oh yeah, I felt absolutely gorgeous in my outfit.. had to ditch the detachable tail of the dress but I think I rocked the outfit just fine without it👌🏾
