Happy Veterans Day, San Antonio! Today, Military City USA honors ALL who have served in the United States Armed Forces. From Army to Navy, Air Force to Marines, Coast Guard to Space Force - every branch, every era, every veteran deserves our gratitude and respect. San Antonio's INFLUENCE Magazine Show is proud to be part of a community that truly understands and honors military service.

San Antonio isn't just called Military City USA as a nickname; it's who we are at our core. With Joint Base San Antonio, multiple VA facilities, and one of the largest veteran populations in the nation, military service is woven into the fabric of our city. Veterans are our business owners, our teachers, our first responders, our elected officials, our neighbors, and our friends. The leadership, discipline, and dedication learned in service strengthens every sector of our community.

Today marks an extraordinary milestone: the United States Marine Corps celebrates 250 years of honor, courage, and commitment! As Military City USA, San Antonio has a deep connection to our Marines, and INFLUENCE Magazine Show proudly salutes every Devil Dog who's ever worn the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor. From Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli, from World War II to today's operations, Marines have written history with their valor.

Our city is home to thousands of Marine veterans and their families who've chosen San Antonio as their home after service. They bring the Marine Corps values: honor, courage, commitment; into our businesses, schools, nonprofits, and neighborhoods. 6 Year Old Raises Money Painting Rocks: Now She's Given $100M+ | Kym Rapier

It started with painted rocks and a six year old's hope to help her best friend's sister who had muscular dystrophy. By age 12, Kym Rapier was organizing carnivals, shutting down streets, and hosting block parties to raise even more money. That childhood passion became a lifelong mission that's now impacted millions of lives worldwide.

Native American Heritage Month: Celebrating Indigenous Leaders in San Antonio ⛺ 🪶

November is Native American Heritage Month, and San Antonio's INFLUENCE Magazine Show is proud to honor the Indigenous voices, leaders, and changemakers who've shaped our community. This month is both about history, and it's also about recognizing the Native American leaders walking among us today, making a difference right here in the 210.

We've had the privilege of featuring incredible Native American guests on our show, including Officer Arthur Poore: an author, U.S. Army veteran of the War on Terror, and dedicated law enforcement officer serving San Antonio. Officer Poore's journey exemplifies the warrior spirit that has defined Indigenous peoples for generations: service to community, protection of others, and commitment to making a positive impact.

From military service defending our nation to law enforcement protecting our streets, his story represents the countless Native American service members and first responders who continue traditions of courage and leadership.
