The Gulf Coast Cattleman mourns the loss of an icon and friend, Dr. Charles Graham, who passed away at the age of 92. Dr. Graham was one of the world’s top equine veterinarians and a cornerstone in the Texas horse racing and breeding industries. He began his career in 1961 at Elgin Veterinary Hospital and went on to establish Graham Land and Cattle Co. and Southwest Stallion Station. He was a tireless volunteer, advocate and mentor and will be remembered for his many leadership roles in veterinary, cattle and horse associations. He will be deeply missed.
