COLD AND WINDY WEATHER AROUND THE UNITED STATES
Winter is almost here, and the first cold front is a reminder, with some freezing temperatures and winds that will subside by Tuesday. A warming trend will continue until Sunday.
Around the United States, the weather will be snowy, very cold and windy from the Northern Plains to the Great Lakes; We are watching for critical fire weather in South Texas.
A freeze warning across North, Central, East -and South Texas may impact outdoor plumbing, sensitive plants, and pets, lasting through Monday morning. An arctic cold front is bringing the coldest air of the season with gusty winds. The worst of the cold snap should subside by Tuesday with a warming trend expected throughout the week.
The San Antonio forecast calls for a low of 41 and a pleasant high of 64, while Corpus Christi enjoys a slightly warmer day with a low of 47 and a high of 65.
Victoria will be dry and windy, posing fire danger in the area. The forecast calls for a low of a cold 38 degrees, warming up to 64 degrees.
El Paso will be colder the whole week, starting Monday with a low of 43 and a high of 68.
