The special treats she surprises you with, just because. The hugs she wraps you in, holding on a little longer than necessary. The support she gives without keeping score. The sacrifices she makes that you won't see until you're older. The tears she shed when disappointment came. The prayers she has lifted to heaven on your behalf.

A mother's love isn't just unconditional—it's the foundation of everything you become.

Mom, I am older now, and I finally see it. All of it.

God is at work in San Antonio! Many nonprofit ministries are quietly making an impact in our city. So why are we still dealing with challenges that have been around for decades?

On May 17, something historic is happening in San Antonio. As our nation marks 250 years since the Declaration of Independence, thousands will gather at San Pedro Springs Park—the oldest park in Texas—to rededicate our city and nation to God.

From 1-9 PM, believers across San Antonio will join together for worship, prayer, and a live stream connection to the National Mall in Washington, D.C. This isn't just another church event—it's marketplace, ministry, and mission moving as ONE.

What to expect: • 7 hours of powerful worship led by local ministries • Live connection to the national rededication in D.C. • Prayer over families, neighborhoods, and our city • A united Body of Christ standing together

The invitation is simple: Bring your worship, your prayers, and your family. Let's ask the Father to move again in the Mission City.

The Beacon supports the National Day of Prayer. The Church in San Antonio is meeting on Thursday, 5/7/26, to cry out to God and glorify Him in our city and among the nations.

The San Antonio event runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Main Plaza. Everyone is welcome!
