You definitely forget how much hungrier you are while breastfeeding than when pregnant. 😅
I could spend all day eating if I let myself, and that’s when most people end up gaining weight. at least for me that’s when I’d add the pounds on, especially since I can’t workout yet.

This time around I’m trying to be more mindful of what I’m eating and fueling my body with (mostly😉) nutrition dense meals and snacks.
Also drinking lots of water and hydration.
Tomorrow we start walking again and working on my pelvic floor.

Happy Due Date to me. 😅
Officially 40 weeks pregnant. He’s definitely comfortable in there so decided to get a workout in to start the day. Definitely having to modify a lot more of the exercises, but as you can tell, still just as hard!

Did 30mins of cardio today then decided to see how heavy I could still lift. Ended up stopping at 135lb for 4 reps. Not a 1 rep max, But definitely felt so good to lift heavy.
Now just in the count down to see how many more lifts I can get in before he makes his appearance 😅

Well not working out this week definitely was not part of the plan. This was definitely a life happens all at once kinda week; with kids getting sick, lots of work, an prepping for a new baby.
So happy to at least have made it to the gym today, the mental break and workout were much needed.

I swear the amount of times the smell of foods has made me throw up this pregnancy. I can’t even keep count anymore, and apparently according to my daughter it’s normal 🤣

We are in the home stretch! Focusing time daily to stretch and help prep my body for labor.
We get so focused on working out we forget to focus on the important prep and making sure our body is also ready for the labor.
These stretches will help open the pelvis, which will help baby descend easier and hopefully faster.

4 more weeks and still going.
Not gonna lie, waiting for the day that I get to low and can’t get back up, or my water breaks mid workout 😬😂
At least it’ll be memorable lol

Single leg RDL’s with balance, definitely harder to balance these days but still got through it! 💪🏻
Only 6 more weeks to go!

So proud with how much I’ve kept up with working out this pregnancy.
Definitely focused on listening to my body more this time. Pushed it as hard as I could some days, and the other days I was just proud I showed up.
Took some time off when needed, between dealing with the hematoma and the craziness of life. 7 more weeks to go!
