Field trip Part 1:

Our Earth Sustainability class had a blast visiting MPL a beautiful tide pool in La Jolla. If you haven't been to a tidepool on Marine protected land I highly recommend it. The sealife is booming.

We learned the local native tribe are the only people who can fish and gather mussels in this protected area.

Thank you to who arranged a special experience just for us.

We can't wait to share part 2 when we give back to Ocean Conservation!

Kids Korner is expanding and heading back into East County in collaboration with a beautiful nature program on an equestrian farm in Lakeside.

We will still be offering amazing classes Tues-Thurs in Clairemont.

Big hearts. Little hands. Real impact 🌊

After diving deep into ocean sustainability, our 3rd–5th graders felt called to take action and they did just that. From learning to doing, they organized their very own beach clean-up and showed what true stewardship looks like.

With the support of a park ranger, these young leaders rolled up their sleeves, protected marine life, and gave back to the ocean they’ve grown to love.

This is what happens when kids are empowered with knowledge, they become changemakers.

WAITLIST ONLY — Earth Sustainability Class ✨🌊

Having an absolute blast each week diving deep into Earth Sustainability using our specialized curriculum by

Right now I’m fully in my alter ego Teacher Ocean Pollution. I will be here until we wrap up our Sea Sustainability Unit. We’re learning real ways to care for our planet through sea, land, and air.

K–2 is exploring how our everyday choices can protect the ocean and reduce harm by cutting down their contribution to the Great Pacific Trash Patch.

Grades 3–5 are next-level: helping me with skits which present the lessons, and on their own organizing a Saturday Ocean Cleanup plus Community Picnic.
Their idea. Their leadership. Their love for the ocean.

They’re choosing the beach, gathering supplies, and inviting other kids to help protect our waters.

We’ll wrap this unit with a field trip to the Children’s Center.

Next Unit (starting in 3 weeks): LAND
Gardening , Seed Journals , Community Cleanup, Seed Library Visit
