Pablo Picassos Cubism, plant propagation and learning

"To have a friend is to be a friend."

With every child in mind, I pre-wrote adjectives to describe them. We cut out a heart, and as we read the words, I instructed the children to hand out the words to friends who matched the description. As the activity went along, some children started to create their own words to describe their friends. And before I knew it, I had a handful of words as well. The energy in the room was lovely. The children were encouraged. I was encouraged.

Let's be friends. We have summer camp days coming up at the end of July.

And we are currently booking tours for next semester!

This week was all about gratitude. It doesn't come naturally, but if we practice it daily, our lives will change for the better! I am so grateful for our little community. My heart is full seeing the littles, and the big kids love each other like family and friends. More than academics, our programs foundation is love because without that, can we really learn and be happy?

When our studies lead us to the CA Redwoods. Finding a Redwood circle was absolutely necessary. We didn't have to look further than Balboa park. After our short lesson we explored the park a bit.
