Today was packed with hands-on exploration, sensory play, and garden-themed wonder!
π§ͺ Potion Station
Campers brewed magical mixtures using flowers, watercolors, beakers, tea sets, and droppers. With imagination as their guide, they mixed scents and colors into beautiful, pretend potions β a favorite corner for creativity and storytelling.
π§ Ice, Salt & Yarn Exploration
In a separate sensory station, kids experimented with ice blocks, salt, and yarn, watching how salt carved tunnels into ice and how color spread through the melting process. It was cool, messy, and mesmerizing!
π Playdough Lab
Campers made their own soft, stretchy homemade playdough β measuring, mixing, and turning simple ingredients into colorful, squishy creations.
π± Plant Science
Drew and labeled the bean life cycle
Planted beans in ziplock bags to observe sprouting and root growth
Discussed what plants need and made predictions about when weβll see sprouts

A few budding strategists gathered for rounds of chess, while others explored dramatic play, blocks, and nature-based activities.
