While hiking through Muir Woods, we stumbled across dozens and dozens of lady bug clusters in a small patch of leaves on the forest floor. These guys were gathering together for warmth and protection as the evening drew near. How cool is that?

Always mind blowing to see Joshua Trees in the wild! We love how their beauty is accentuated by their harsh surroundings. And by harsh, we mean that the last time we camped here, we had to leave the park by 8:30am because it was already 98F outside!

And yet we saw so many desert critters and birds scurrying about with tons of flora thriving everywhere. What an awe-inspiring place to be. It’s still one of the best places to spot a sunset or a meteor shower. We encourage you to check it out if you’ve never been!

Being outdoors is important to us. While we are in nature, we find the space necessary to breathe and be truly creative. Nature (by nature) is always creating, growing, and reshaping itself - we like tapping into that.

Did you know ferns have neither seeds or flowers and that they reproduce via spores? There are over 10,000 species of ferns and most people can recognize one when they see one. We think they are such cool plants that always paints the forest floor in a beautiful verdant hue.
