I love making guests happy by giving them the best experience possible and making kids feel included by showing them how the camera works and allow them to direct shots too.

In early spring of 2007, during my second trip to Disneyland, I had the opportunity to march from It’s A Small World to Town Square with my high school marching band. It was one of the most thrilling and exhilarating experiences in my life at that time, I told myself that I will work at Disneyland someday. Almost 20 years later, I have fulfilled my dream parks role, to be a photographer.

I completed one year at Disneyland this past May and it’s only upwards from here on out at TWDC. I have gained so much knowledge and experiences throughout the years that I thrive to use every day in and out of work.

There are no amount of words to describe how much I love what I do. Thank you to all who believes in me and who pushes me everyday to be the best version of myself.

Can’t believe we’re half way into 2025!

One of the best decisions I made for myself within the past year was coming out fully. Was it easy no, do I still have things to work through, sure, but I’m immensely more happier. I missed out on gay experiences in my 20s because I lacked the confidence, courage, and guidance. I know I’m not too late for those experiences, but there is a toxicity in the gay community about g**s close to their 40s. Side note: we all have things we need to work on or going through, we just need to be there for each other. Kindness is the real punk rock.

When this year started, I dealt with the passing of two family members, persistent migraines, and three months on medical leave. Aside from that, I knew I wanted a clean slate in 2025. New look, style, stories, opportunities, I wouldn’t say it’s a complete reboot or requel, but maybe more of a personal comeback after coming out.

My San Diego trip this past weekend is a trip to remember. I had a lot of fun. Sorry not much photos. I say this all the time, I need to go to S.D. more often or maybe just move back, but I also love my Disney job so much that idea shelved at the moment. Imagine the commute lol

Disneyland After Pride Nite

It was a lot of fun. Thank you to our amazing PhotoPass team for capturing all these moments. I did everything I had planned and extra. I’m definitely going next year.

Next pride event will be San Diego Pride. I wanted to participate in SD Pride Festival again since I volunteered back in 2019. I’ll be in the parade this time with Disneyland Resort.

One of the best decisions I made was coming out. That wouldn’t have been possible if I didn’t heal from past situations and being surrounded by incredible coworkers and fiends at Disney. Voluntearing for pride events helped me too.

I’m so excited for what’s to come in this chapter of my life.
